"Bite Your Tongue" is an intense track that confronts passivity in the face of government sanctioned attacks on human rights. The heavy synthesizers and kicks evoke pounding feet on pavement, wailing sirens, and yells of people in the streets calling for justice. It begs the question, would you sacrifice your comfort to save real human lives?

Beginning from a "conservative" perspective and digging into the "liberal" side in verse 2, nobody is exempt from the greater compassion and bravery this song calls for.
